NED MELANSON
Ned Melanson is a challenger candidate running for Cambridge City Council. He is a public defender at Cambridge District Court and runs a Social Security Disability law firm. He is a renter, a cyclist, and a believer that we cannot achieve our goals as a progressive city if we do not address the material disparities and economic hardships faced by so many Cantabrigians. We can do this by building more housing of all kinds (affordable, public, and market), addressing the homelessness crisis, creating more jobs, investing in cutting-edge industries, supporting unions, doubling the frequency of public transit, and making our streets safe for walking, rolling, and biking.
